This is an opening title sequence for a show based on the novel, The Husband’s Secret by Liane Moriarty. The concept represents the idea of the perstin perfect image, the perfect life, perfect family being tarnished and wilting away like a rose. I wanted to pay tribute to the strong, femine characters in the story and represent the struggle with the pressure to be the graceful, put together, doting wife, and perfect mother. The motions are guided by the wind, representing letting go and losing control. The color scheme and illustrations style is delicate, dainty and elegant depicting the traditional femine role.
